Founded in 2013, the Bengaluru-based digital trading platform has since grown exponentially and now has a customer base of over 1.2 million. The cryptocurrency ATM is the first of its kind in India, they've previously existed abroad. It's been launched by local crypto exchange Unocoin, and meant exclusively for their customers to withdraw or deposit cash. Unocoin and Unodax customers can deposit and withdraw Indian currency from the ATM. The ATM allows users to deposit cash into their Unocoin accounts, which can be used to buy cryptocurrencies, and also withdraw their cryptocurrency assets in Indian rupees. The first ATM has been deployed in Bangalore, and the company says that it'll deploy ATMs in Mumbai and Delhi in the coming weeks.
